“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6

“He who has ears, let him hear.” (Matthew 13:9) - Once upon a time, there was a little girl in elementary school. Her best friend that she loved and adored was having a tough day. The friend was upset and tired and stressed and anxious. The little girl talked to her friend and said: “Think of going to school with an empty backpack. Then something stressful happens and it goes in your backpack like a book. And then someone says something mean and upsetting and it goes in your backpack. And then you have a test later in the day and you start to get anxious about it and it goes in your backpack. And then your backpack is filled with all of these things and is heavy on your shoulders and hard to carry. You have to put that backpack down and take those things out and give them to someone that can help you carry them. Like a friend, or an adult, or especially… God.”

You may not be responsible for everything that goes into your backpack, but you are responsible for what stays there. Take it out and give it to God.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)
May the words of a child comfort your heart and lead you in His way.
